Job Description:

As a Delegate Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving delegate attendance and revenue generation for their events & exhibitions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive delegate sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Identifying and prospecting potential delegate leads through various channels, including industry databases, social media platforms, and direct outreach.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders to secure delegate registrations.
  • Conducting sales presentations and negotiations to convert leads into registered delegates.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to delegates, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring a seamless registration process.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns to drive delegate registrations.
  • Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to position our event competitively.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in delegate sales, event sales, or B2B sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Target‑driven mindset with a track record of exceeding revenue goals.
